This initiative encourages the formulation of pledges that contribute to a sustainable lifestyle and ecological preservation. By participating, you join a movement dedicated to creating tangible impacts through collective commitment. Whether it's reducing your carbon footprint, engaging in community clean-ups, or advocating for policy change, every pledge is a step toward a healthier planet.

Potential Themes for Video Makers

In order to spark some ideas for your video making competition, we are sharing some themes which you can use. You can also use your own ideas and turn them into compelling videos. You are welcome to use AI (such as Claude,  ChatGPT, Bing AI, etc) to brainstorm more ideas for yourself, or in groups of up to 5 when collaborating. Videos of 3 winners are featured on our Youtube channel, Twitch, and on scientific blogs. Here are some topics as examples so you, or groups of up to 4 students, to consider for their Planet Pledge Video Challenge. See below for prizes to winners.

We share Climate Action & Education

Leverage social media to amplify climate advocacy and educational content. Participants can earn certificates and gain visibility by featuring their commitment videos on GCA's official website and YouTube channel, fostering a widespread movement for planetary care.

Remember, your video is not just a pledge; it’s a call to action! Through your message, you have the power to inspire and mobilize others towards a more sustainable future.
